If the two domain names have the same address then I can see this
happening.  Do you run a web server on that machine?  And if so, how
does the web server know which domain is being accessed?

I've seen things like:

www.companya.com and www.companyb.com have the same ip address, but
are accessed by http://www.companya.com/a/indexa.html and
http://www.companyb.com/b/indexb.html.
