An 040 or 030 powered Mac w/ MacOS makes a decent web browsing, word processing machine; it's an actually useable alternative to an e-machine. Similarlly a 386 or 486 powered FreeBSD machine can still be quite useful even as a small server (admittedly the 68k Mac hardware makes for a piss poor server.. but still). I can't see a 486 or 040 powered machine becomming entirely obsolete until X is required to buildworld. - alex You better believe that marijuana can cause castration.
