I'm trying to install freeBSD 3.0 on my laptop via PPP.
I'm using a Xircom CreditCard Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56.
It installs itself in Win98 as COM5 and I've verified that the
connection works using a terminal program.
However, the freebsd installation menu from the boot disk does not allow
me to access COM5.
Is there any way to get around this problem?
