First, FreeBSD 2.5 does not run on the Alpha. You will need to get 3.3 or
higher. Second, FreeBSD uses SRM to boot but the SRM for your model does
not support booting from IDE. So basically, your choices are to get a SCSI
hard disk to boot from or set it up to boot from floppy. Good luck.
