Seems as if the driver doesn't like your cable network, this is why the first method (mspsimple = -1/1) doesn't work and the other channels are just noise. > I'm not too sure if it will be fruitful since he don't have cable Any chance you can try it on your box? e.g. boot a knoppix-CD (http://www.knoppix.net) - AFAIK xawtv is included on the knoppix-CD, so you should be able to test the Linux-driver from a CD-boot.
