I think it looks friendly, not evil at all.  Moreover, it says "FreeBSD,
the power to serve".  Sounds goodwilling to me.  

Btw, when I run my FreeBSD (4.x) machine, I don't see any daemon images 
other than the ones I put in icons and backgrounds myself.
