What package are you trying to install? A reinstall should _never_ be
necessary. Tel us more about that error.

I believe maybe your file system is full ;) Seriously -- it is not a
recommended way of reinstalling a system to just re-run sysinstall. You will
have to prepare your disk, e.g. delete your old root system.. But as I said
above: a reinstall shouldn't be necessary, once the system is up and runing.
