No, this isn't how it's done. You can't "officially" recompile BIND
without recompiling the rest of the world, but some people have posted
unofficial instructions which may work for you. Search the mailing
list archives for -stable and -security on http://docs.freebsd.org, or
see the advisory for a list of alternatives.
