Hi, when i try to install a source code using gmake (installed from freebsd
packages) i get this error:
/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libutil.so.3" not found

How can i solve this? i'm using freebsd-3.5-stable, and i also could not
install mysql-server, because i didnt have lib-so-4 (something like that).

Now, i feel what's to be "open source", it's a deep depresion, that
nothing/nobody helps you, and your system is called "stable", but you cant
install anything.
It's very different a computer in your home to play with it, than a server
24 working that you cant stop, buy the lastest freebsd ver, and install it.

I dont call freebsd-3 "stable", it's a bogus version, it has not libraries.
I would have understood that i was (am)not able to admin a system like
freebsd, because i'm too young. but, now, the bussiness is up anbd running
and i cant reinstall another os (linux maybe).

bye
