Murray,

I'm sorry to say (please, someone correct me if I'm wrong because I
would like to see this work, too), but PCI to PC-Card adapters do not
work in FreeBSD 4.x. There is support slated for 5.x, though I have not
been able to get the same bridge you are talking about to work under
5.x. (I didn't try much, though, because ISA to PC-Card adapters work
and I had one laying around.) If you have ISA slots available and $50,
the ISA to PC-Card bridges should work for you.

Again, if anyone knows that you can, indeed, get them to work under 4.x,
I would love to know how myself. (The reason why the PCI to PC-Card
adapters work for wireless devices is apparently because the drivers
were "fudged" with so that the system pretends they are ISA cards. I
don't completely understand it myself, but am working on it...)
