Since no one else has responded yet, I may as well take a stab at it. As you mentioned, instead of using the standard MBR I would think you would want to go back into the install (sysinstall) and either run through the entire install again or do a custom install and install the FreeBSD boot manager. Don't know if it will work after installing BSD once, but it should be the option that you want if you need a multiboot system. Hope it helps and good luck. --- john kernel <john_kernel@usa.net> wrote: > john kernel <john_kernel@usa.net> wrote: > i have succesfully instaled freebsd 4.2 into my > hard drive, i have win 2000 > profesioal in my partition active(C), but after i > had installed freebsd, i > cant boot, only freebsd i can run it, what should i > do,,, > before this i have choose STANDARD while > instalaltion proccess for boot > system (standard=use a standard mbr), > > what should i do, please help me > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of > the message > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of > the message __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
