I am trying to install freebsd 3.4 onto my sony vaio - but i get a ppp =
error - does anyone have any info that might help me out


** from within the ppp program ppp on - how do i output the exact error
message

** what i get right now is -
** phase deflink /dev/cuaa0 doesn't support CD
** carrier -> login
** login -> lcp
** then i get Disconnected
** lcp -> logout
** logout -> hangup

** My isp is earthlink.
