On FreeBSD 4.8-20030810-STABLE:

After i recompiled the kernel with support
for a few wireless ethernet interfaces, I
am now getting continuously scrolling messages
in /var/log/messages :

backwards (9808.271062 -> 9808.243817)
Oct  5 19:14:59 localhost /kernel: microuptime() went
backwards (9808.271062 -> 9808.249396)

Oct  5 19:14:59 localhost /kernel: microuptime() went
backwards (9808.311713 -> 9808.275242)
Oct  5 19:14:59 localhost /kernel: microuptime() went
backwards (9808.311713 -> 9808.282668)
Oct  5 19:14:59 localhost /kernel: microuptime() went
backwards (9808.311713 -> 9808.294897)
Oct  5 19:14:59 localhost /kernel: microuptime() went
backwards (9808.311713 -> 9808.304468)
.
.
.
etc

I have killed xntpd, and timed, yet the messages
continue unabated.

What did I do do wrong?

Thanks,

Nasha
