If it is on the FreeBSD web pages, I really think that I'd at least
need to approve the effort.  I have no problem with doing that, I just
don't want to read about it in a public list w/o even a heads up being
sent to me.  It lacks common courtesy.  Maybe I'm just being grumpy.
