FreeBSD 4.6-RC4 (i386) is now available : ftp://ftp2.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/4.6-RC4 As usual, check your local ftp.FreeBSD.org mirror first. The Port Managers and Release Engineers are still working on putting together the final package set, so this is just an FTP install directory for now. We accepted a lot of feedback about the package set following FreeBSD 4.5 and we will give our stable users at least a few days to comment on the proposed 4.6 package split before we release. In the mean time, please help test your favorite packages by installing over the network.
