Thanks for your message. I remember this thread, I attempted to 
set this loader parameter when this thread appeared, and it didn't 
change anything (my system is a pre-UEFI one). I just tried now to    
be sure: same symptoms persist. I'm still stuck with drm-kmod not 
working.
