If you just want to use sendmail as a local mailer (i.e. no incoming
mail), you can tcp_wrap smtp (the sendmail daemon) -- with
tcp_wrappers.  If you still want to receive mail from the outside, but
wish to deny mail from "spammers", you should read the sendmail
documentation about relaying and spam blocking.
