The i2p port is now so badly out of date, over three years out of date in fact, that it cannot even connect to the latest versions of this software and having this outdated version installed is a major security risk.

Look at the official changelog for i2p and compare it with the version in ports, then weep at how ports can be abandoned for more than 3 years.
