hi sirs, apologize me for disturbing this list but i really need your help. i've installed mysql323-server a few minutes ago and restarted my 4.5-stable FreeBSD box. once i enter command mysqladmin -u root -p password `newpassword', i got and error that says mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed error: 'Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: YES)' i entered this command both from plain user and super user with the same error. anyone hints are appreciated. please cc to me too. with best regards, psr __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
