Is there a way to set up the PPP stuff to recognize a PAP/CHAP packet and
switch into PPP mode (and...while I'm at it...perform client side radius
authentication?)

Please, straight answers only, this relates to a driver porting job I'm
doing for Multitech, and we run Livingston, CompuTone, and Chase
Research terminal servers. I want to make sure that I can emulate or
exceed in capability "normal" terminal servers
