I've got a CVS repository on disc 3 of the distribution set, but:

ben% pwd
/cdrom/CVS-Repository/src/usr.sbin/inetd
ben% cvs log *
cvs log: cannot open CVS/Entries for reading: No such file or directory
cvs log: nothing known about Makefile,v
cvs log: nothing known about TRANS.TBL
cvs log: nothing known about inetd.8,v
cvs log: nothing known about inetd.c,v
cvs log: nothing known about pathnames.h,v

Handbook, you say? *sigh*
