Hi all, I've recently portupgraded vlc from 0.8.6.c_1,2 to 0.8.6.c_2,2, and for some reason or other it now doesn't play avi files that played with the previous version. Sound appears okay, but no video. The following message appears on stderr: [00000288] main decoder error: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `XVID'. VLC probably does not support this sound or video format. Anyone here have any idea how to fix this? Cheers. -- Jonathan Chen <jonc@chen.org.nz> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- char *p="char *p=%c%s%c;main(){printf(p,34,p,34);}";main(){printf(p,34,p,34);}
