Glad you want to help!

The best thing to do is browse the web pages & system and find what you
like best, and plug yourself in.

If you can program, get a hold of the source tree and fix or write utils.
If you like writing, tune into the freebsd-doc mailing list and make
submissions for the Handbook & FAQ & tutorial sections. If you like
support, subscribe to freebsd-questions and answer questions like me. :)
