The following reply was made to PR usb/133989; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Teerapap Changwichukarn <teerapap.c@gmail.com> To: bug-followup@freebsd.org, emikulic@gmail.com Cc: Subject: Re: usb/133989: [usb8] [ukbd] USB keyboard dead at mountroot> prompt Date: Fri, 23 Apr 2010 14:55:22 +0700 --e0cb4e887439fc9ab80484e2c059 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 I found same problem but with a virtual CD via IPMI. cd0 is detected after mount root process so the system cannot boot automatically. I found a workaround for this problem. By setting kern.cam.scsi_delay="50000" in loader.conf . you may increase or decrease this delay up to your problem. I'm not sure if it works for your keyboard or not. ------------------------------- Cheers, Teerapap Changwichukarn http://www.teerapap.net http://teerapap.blogspot.com --e0cb4e887439fc9ab80484e2c059 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I found same problem but with a virtual CD via IPMI. cd0 is detected after = mount root process so the system cannot boot automatically.
I found a wo= rkaround for this problem.
By setting kern.cam.scsi_delay=3D"50000&= quot; in loader.conf .=A0=A0=A0 you may increase or decrease this delay up = to your problem.
I'm not sure if it works for your keyboard or not.

-------------= ------------------
Cheers,
Teerapap Changwichukarn
<a href=3D"http= ://www.teerapap.net">http://www.teerapap.net
<a href=3D"http://teera= pap.blogspot.com">http://teerapap.blogspot.com
--e0cb4e887439fc9ab80484e2c059--
