Hi,
From my /etc/rc.conf (don't mess with /etc/defaults/rc.conf and put this in
/etc/rc.conf

named_enable="YES"
named_program="named"
named_flags=" -b /etc/namedb/named.conf"
named_flags="-u bind -g bind"
