Well hello Michael,

I am not sure that I understand your question..

MRTG does all of the SNMP stuff... 

Are you looking to find out what SNMP object's are available? I have 
found that ucd-snmp is simple you can then use snmpwalk and look at the whole 
interface section..

I think that ucd-snmp is in the ports collection...
