Just read through the thread, the situation looks like the one we had.
At least for the vmopar problems.

We run a bunch of webservers who get the data off of a read-only NFS
mount from a NetApp.  Of course when an user updates the files the
Apache webserver might reference that file and you get the same problem
as Vadim described.
