Subject: pico from pine 3.9[56] Can't find shared library "libpico.so.1.3" w/FreeBSD-2.2.1-RELEASE

Both from the package of 3.95, and having rebuilt 3.96, I get the
error from pico that it cannot file its shared library. I re-run
ldconfig, and done strings on /var/run/ld.so.hints and verified
that it is in there, but unless people add LD_LIBRARY_HINTS
/usr/local/lib to their environment, it will complain that it can't
find it.
