Interesting.  My brother reports pcmcia related crashes with linux on
the order of once or twice a year.  He also reports to me that he's
never had FreeBSD crash on him once I helped get the pccard issue
resolved.  He's the only person I know personally that runs both on a
regular basis. :-)

I guess it is highly variable.
