I'm about to update my local graphics/ImageMagick to the latest version
(6.0.1-3) and then send-pr the results, and I'd like to know if there's
any reason why this hasn't been done already. (No, not a complaint, just
an inquiry concerning any reasons that I don't know about as a user.)
Thanks.

I abhor a system designed for the "user", if that word is a coded
pejorative meaning "stupid and unsophisticated". -- Ken Thompson

Unix is user friendly. However, it isn't idiot friendly.
