Greetings,

I've been having a few font-related problems with a couple programs
in X and can't seem to fix them. A couple of the guys in 'questions'
have tried to help but we can't seem to get anywhere.

The system is 'current' as of 2-1-97. The kernel: SMP
I am using the XAccel server yet XFree86 behaves the same.

Some programs (ie: xperfmon++, xsysinfo, xftp,) start with the error
"Warning: Unable to load any useable fontset". Most of them then
continue to run normally. Scitext however, is crashing with an error
"Desired Font not ins Cache - loading !!!
ERROR: Font could not be loaded by X-Server ! "

Xset -q shows font paths correctly but displays...
Xlib: extension "XFree86-Misc" missing on display ":0.0".

I've re-run 'mkfontdir' in all font directories and done xset fp rehash
a few times.

Any Ideas??

Thanks
