so i was adding a few applications to my new VERY cool KSmoothDock bar and the screen refreshed. after that refresh, the KDE menu and all the applications under it stopped showing icons. i tried going to the control center and choosing another icons set and refreshing, that didn't work, i tried rebooting, that didn't work. anyone have an idea?
