hi guys,
i just installed a new controller <Promise TX2 ATA100 controller>.
i have 1 poblem with the card ..... the pc takes a long time to reboot :(
when i reboot and kernel load .... it takes almost 3 mins to get to the
login screen.
actually the pc hangs twice when it says:
atapci0: <VIA 82C686 ATA100 controller> port 0xd800-0xd80f at device 4.1 on
pci0
after that line the pc hangs for like a min maybe more
then again it hangs after the line:
fd0: <1440-KB 3.5" drive> on fdc0 drive 0
i will paste you the whole dmesg output maybe someone can help me.
