if you've been able to format the disk (did you let XP do it, or did you do it with other software?), then the problem is possibly with the disk itself. where are you seeing this error? is it spitting it out right when the computer boots up, or once the XP installation begins? -Adam >> (07.25.2002 @ 2016 PST): sagacious said, in 11K: << > > > >i recently installed FreeBSD on one of my computers.
