 true mine has 3 bad blocks ;)

 just another thing...

 does FreeBSD not supporting an ide cdrom means i can install it from 
 an ide cdrom? or that it wont run an ide cdrom under the os?
 pls. let me know to knok if am gonna have to use floppies...
