Yes, but it depends on what your guest operating system is.  There are
special video drivers for Win9X and WinNT that are part of the "VMWare
Tools".  If running a guest that uses XFree86 such as Linux or
FreeBSD, I think the appropriate driver is already there (or is that
only host support?).
