I wrote to the author of net/plb concerning its recent breakage due to
the upgrade of devel/libevent. His reply is attached.

net/plb has no MAINTAINER, is no longer maintained upstream, and is
broken. I believe this port should be removed.

Mr. Denis suggests www/nginx or net/relayd as a replacement. I
think that net/relayd is closer in function to net/plb, as www/nginx
is primarily a web server.

  Hello,

Ouch no, PLB hasn't been maintained for years as it has become totally us=
eless with projects like Nginx and Relayd.

I'm not even sure that it ever worked on FreeBSD (beyond the compilation =
stage).

So, please consider an alternative :)

  Best regards,

    -Frank.
