Hello,

I am trying to install FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT (snapshot 20040202 from snapshots.jp.freebsd.org).
I was able to install it choosing Safe Mode from the boot menu, but after that whenever I try
to boot it (with, without acpi, safe mode) it panics with the following (copied by hand):

Memory modified after free 0xc45a7e00(508) val 1000100 @ 0xc45a7e00

Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode

I have browsed the archives and found the bit about setting ht.pci.allow_unsupported_io_range="1".
I have set it via the loader, but the same panic happens.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
