Absolutely... it wasn't my intention to imply anything about SCSI or ATA
per se, merely that (because of the market segments they're selling into)
a typical SCSI drive is likely to be built to be generally tougher than a
typical ATA drive, and that increased noise is part of the price you pay
for that toughness.  There will no doubt the exceptions to prove the rule
:-)
