            Bug ID: 231836
           Summary: sysutils/devcpu-data: inducing kernel panic if set to
                    load in /boot/loader.conf (12.0-ALPHA8 r339020)

Text dump

Installed sysutils/devcpu-data via, then added following lines per the post
installation message:

# cat >> /boot/loader.conf
cpu_microcode_load=3D"YES"
cpu_microcode_name=3D"/boot/firmware/intel-ucode.bin"
^D
# shutdown -r now

Then, kernel panics immediately after loader.

The /etc/rc.conf way updates microcode without any problem.
