There's something I don't understand that is going on with my Xorg. My video card is RS880 [Radeon HD 4250], I am using the radeon.ko kernel module (xf86-video-ati instead of xf86-video-r128 or xf86-video-radeonhd) When I query glx, I get this: % glxinfo | grep render libGL error: failed to load driver: r600 libGL error: Try again with LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose for more details. direct rendering: Yes OpenGL renderer string: Software Rasterizer GL_NV_conditional_render, GL_NV_depth_clamp, AFAIK r600 is part of xf86-video-r128. Why this error - should I switch drivers? If the driver is OK, how do I fix this error? ----- FreeBSD-9.2-stable_amd64_root-on-zfs_clang-only-world -- View this message in context: http://freebsd.1045724.n5.nabble.com/libGL-not-liking-my-choice-of-video-driver-tp5848876.html Sent from the freebsd-x11 mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
