   You're not only one experiencing a problem with that port - see from
pkg_version -v:
xscreensaver-gnome-4.02             <   needs updating (port has 4.04.2)
and portupgrade:

I've been trying to chase this for a while now, by posting here as well
as to the listed port maintainer, but haven't gotten any responses as
yet - just posts from other users asking the same question as you've
done here. Hopefully someone'll (or indeed, the port maintainer) get
back to us on this. I know this isn't a solution, but I thought you'd
like to know that others are also in the same situation and are awaiting
some information.
