ok i bought freebsd and i have a little problem i just read the book and i found out that my cd-rom isn't supported no indication on the package or anything and there's a no return on open software policy where i bought it anyway its an ATAPI -CD ROM 32x max speed actually that's about all i know its in a hp pavilion 6343 pc AMD K6 processor at 300 mhz i guess a generic IDE disk type 1 and an NEC 3.5" 1.44 mb floppy and a problem i had with X windows with linux....unknown chipset..its an SiS 5513 i think..
