Here's the working script (Yay!)

  DEST=3D$FILE
  DIRNAME=3D`basename ${FILE} .iso`
  echo ${DIRNAME} ${FILE}
  mkdir /mount/new_brighton/images/${DIRNAME}
  mount -t cd9660 /dev/`mdconfig -f ${FILE}`    =
/mount/new_brighton/images/${DIRNAME}
done
