: I never knew they had a FreeBSD driver. Of course I only heard of the

: can look at it and comment)

The copyright looks like a fairly standard BSD one and should pose no
problems:

** Copyright (c) 1997-98 Initio Corp. All rights reserved.

** modification, are permitted provided that the following conditions
** are met:
** 1. Redistributions of source code must retain the above copyright

** 2. Redistributions in binary form must reproduce the above copyright

** documentation and/or other materials provided with the distribution.
** 3. The name of the author may not be used to endorse or promote products
** derived from this software without specific prior written permission.

<legal disclaimer here omitted>

Number 2 is the only thing that I see might be a problem, but many
hunks of the kernel have a cluase similar to that.
