On the AS2100A 5/375, the performance is at about PII 300 levels with 
the default VM (Sun JDK 1.3.1 for Linux, Hot Spot VM). Maybe the 8MB 
cache helps here.

The FastVM Beta appears to work, are there any particular benchmarks 
that you might
be interested in?
