I've often wondered if it's possible to enable some kind of audible =
indication
of error, or not, while working without a screen.  Perhaps a comforting =
bleep
when a command completes ok, and an 'ut oh' on error.

I wouldn't mind scanning the scripts you (wisely) attached only to the =
OP.
So attach them (and a translated sig :)) to me, if you would.
