   Just read POSIX spec. P1003.2, "make" command f.e.
   It says nothing about error condition there.
   Moreover NetBSD (and FreeBSD now) makes only blames on it,
   other world makes don't.

As I noted previously, this does *NOT* occur in NetBSD any more.  It
strikes me as a bit odd that people are being so quick to defend what
is obviously a bug.
