I mailed my procedure a dozen times:

	disklabel -Brw sd1 auto
	disklabel -e sd1	# edit partitions
	for filesys in `get file system partitions of sd1`
	do
		newfs -d0 /dev/rsd1${filesys}
	done
	vi /etc/fstab

This creates ``dangerously dedicated'' drives (thus no `fdisk'
required), as long as this is fine with you, the above is perhaps the
easiest way.

Analyze it, and tell Jordan about the actual problem.
