Another solution (temporarily)

On another list someone posted that maxtor has available a flash utility for
their ata66 drives that allow you to flash from ata66 to ata33, and back to
ata66.  He has forwarded me the self extracting executable, if wanted I'll do
the same.  He had to get it sent to him by the support desk if I read it
correctly, if you want it directly from maxtor( which I would understand ).
